Now entering its 49th year, the Clifden Arts Festival is Ireland’s longest-running community arts festival and has become an important part of the cultural calendar in Connemara and beyond. This year’s programme once again brings together an impressive mix of music, literature, poetry, visual arts, theatre, dance and community events across Clifden and the surrounding area.
Among the 2026 highlights are performances from The Stunning and renowned traditional group Lúnasa, alongside a wide-ranging programme of exhibitions, concerts, talks, performances and free community events throughout the eleven-day festival.
