This role is ideal for a 2nd year Solas Registered apprentice looking to gain hands-on experience across domestic and commercial projects, particularly within the renewable energy sector.
Role Overview
You will work alongside qualified electricians, supporting the installation and maintenance of Solar PV systems while continuing to develop your practical skills on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of electrical systems on domestic and commercial projects
- Support work on solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and EV chargers
- Carry out basic wiring, containment, and equipment setup
- Assist with fault finding, testing, and commissioning tasks
- Follow all health & safety procedures on-site
- Complete required documentation and attend and successfully complete SOLAS training phases
Requirements
- Registered SOLAS Electrical Apprentice (2nd Year)
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction
- Good work ethic, reliability, and timekeeping
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling (or willingness to obtain)
- Full driving licence (desirable)
- Willingness to travel as required
